3/24/2023 0 Comments Opie or ring menu![]() ![]() I don't like using Ctrl and Alt in combat because I am not used to them and don't like too many modifier keys, esp in Alt's case, I could easily push Windows button by mistake and that will 99% get me killed as you can imagine I also have giant hands (like 23 cm from thumb's tip to pinky's tip, atleast in my country its friggin giant ) so I can even reach buttons 7-8 and H, U, J (I actually used those in the past), but it's just faster with my current set up. And I also use OPie for things like hearthstone/whistle (on one ring), then some abilities I rarely ever use on another ring (like redemption or cleanse, idk if a retri is supposed to use that alot, but I dont nonetheless. ![]() Then I have F1-F7 for the interface menus I often use (mainly f1-f4). My OPie ring keybinds - Shift + Mouse Button 4, Shift + MB 5 and Shift + V. Middle mouse button on click (Rebuke/any interrupt), Mouse Button 4 (Divine Steed), Mouse Button 5 (Goblin Glider Kit - yep, I fall off cliffs a lot ), ` (Eye for an Eye) and Shift + Space (Blessing of Freedom). I bind 1 (judgement with a mouseover smart cast macro),2 (crusader strike),3 (Blade of Justice),4(templar's verdict),5 (Divine Storm),6,(Arcane Torrent for those holy power swings) A (Blinding Light) and D (Flash of Light) (I am really used to strafing with Q and E so I can't remove those so instead I got rid of A and D), F (Hammer of Justice), G (Divine Shield), R (Wake of Ashes), T (Trinket), Y (Shield of Vengeance), C (Crusade/Wings), V (mount), B (Blessing of Protection), N (potions/healthstones), Shift + D (Lay on Hands). Now that I have a new PC and a nice mouse with a few extra buttons, it's great. Just a few days ago for the first time in my WoW career I have every single ability and/or item I use on a keybind. And over the years I've been increasing the number. A few years ago I started keybinding 2-3 buttons for quick use (like F for stun, G for divine shield and H for Lay on Hands). I play a Retribution paladin and I've been a keyboard turner for many years.
